Request data deletion

You can ask BidLot to delete the personal data we hold about you. Submit the form below and our Data Protection Officer will action your request. You can also email us directly at privacy@bidlot.africa.

Before you submit

We may need to verify your identity before deleting data, to protect your account.
Some records must be retained even after a deletion request — for example identity-verification (KYC), transaction, payment, and tax records that Kenyan law requires us to keep for a set period. These are deleted once their retention period ends.
Deleting your data will close your BidLot account and you will lose access to your listings, bids, and history.
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and complete them within the timeframe set by the Data Protection Act, 2019.
